AI Movie

The movie Artificial Intelligence was very interesting because of the fact that the boy robot, David, seems to slowly be turning into an actual boy towards the end of the movie, even though he doesn't quite turn into an actual boy. He seems to actually feel scared, lonely, and in hope that he can be a real boy so that he can please his mother who he actually seems to love. The robot boy seems to be made so closely like a real boy that he can love his mom and wants to be with his family. He feels ashamed that he can't be real like her other son and he can't please her. The key word in these sentences is that he feels, yet if he is a real robot, how can he 'feel?' Is it just that the his technology was created as is so high tech that he can experience actual human emotions? It's hard to say whether or not David's mind was actually forming into that of a human, but at the same time it's also hard to even think that the robots mind could 'form.'
