I thought it was really interesting talking about Cyborgs last class. It was fun thinking about all of the different cyborgs in pop culture today. I had always loved Inspector Gadget as a kid and I don’t think I ever once considered him a so-called “Cyborg”. The term just sounds a bit negative when I hear it. They made Inspector Gadget somewhat of a futuristic superhero, just using the simplest of things. Just hearing him simply say “Go Go gadget --------“was entertaining. It’d be quite interesting to live in a world where you could simply just use those simple words to perform a simple task or when one is in need of some assistance. Things would be too easy….yet fun, for the first few years.
