Technical activity automatically eliminates every nontechnical activity or transforms it into technical activity. This does not mean, however, that there is any conscious effort or directive will. Jacques Ellul

Jounal 13
In class we were discussing Robot Visions and whether or not the robots would be a good representation of humans if humans no longer existed. It is hard to imagine that we will have robots that can think on their own or be able to do things without a human to make or program them. In the story, the robots would need to continue to do this on their own. It seems reasonable that they would make their own adjustments and add their own ideas to new robots. After a while they may not be a representation of human beings any longer. Really in the end, if no humans exist, who is going to see the robots and care if they represent what humans used to be like.
