Technical activity automatically eliminates every nontechnical activity or transforms it into technical activity. This does not mean, however, that there is any conscious effort or directive will. Jacques Ellul

AI Response
I really enjoyed the movie we watched in class. It really related to the things we're talking about in class. It was dead on to the material we've been going over...but only to an extent. After awhile, it seemed to just veer off farther and farther as the movie progressed. The only real or pure character in the movie was ironically, David. Although he was a robot, he showed more human qualities than any of the other people. Monica, his "mother" seemed to just get rid of him right as he started getting on her nerves. It was quite pathetic really. Even the super mecca treat him like everyone else. Everyone appears to lie, abuse, and abandon him in every way, shape, or form. Whats strange really is how I wouldn't doubt the world turning out like this in the future. It already seems to be heading in a negative direction. Every scientists dream is to finally make a robot-like person like David. But the problems that are presented in the movie are inevitable, yet people are too oblivious and fancy gadget hungry to realize it.
