More Proof to Support Carr

The newest evidence that the internet is changing our brains. This one focuses on the fact that the more Facebook friends you have, the bigger certain regions in our brain are.

I was glad this article acknowledged the problem with many of these “Internet changing our brain” studies – it conceded that the researchers weren’t sure what was causing what. Just like the article said, studies of how the brain changes over time need to be done next. Very interesting article!

The ethical choice here of if a change in our social nature and our brains is truly limited to an individual. It is truly a question of morality, where the culture will decide to embrace or ward off this change. From the way things seem to be going however, it's looking like our brains are going to be getting bigger.
