Video Games Controlling Children

I have noticed over the years the growing popularity of video games and the video game industry. It is especially popular with the children of our society. These games recreate sports games, wars, and other things that look appealing to young children. I fear though that these children may be controlling young children. These kids will play countless hours of these games without stopping. With the recent release of the very popular game Call of Duty: Modern Warefare 3, the games are more controlling than ever.
This kind of goes along with one of my prior blogs. These children would rather play video games than play outside with their friends. After they get home from school, they play the games for the rest of the day. These games are controlling their lives and need to be regulated. Parents need to step in and control how long their child plays. It is ok for them to play for a while but they need to get out and exercise. If they dont, they will be adding to the childhood obesity statistics in America. I know how fun these games can be but they need to be played in moderation.

video games arent the cause of child obesity. its the abundance of fast food and how affordable it is compared to healthier alternatives. video games are just annoyng.
