Above is a link about how disabled people in oregon are using ipads to vote in an election. This is a great example of how advancments in technology are making are society better. This kind of technology makes voting accesable to more people and maybe one day we will all vote using ipads or maybe even right from our cell phones.

I can only assume the majority of disabled people are the elderly. From my experience, this generation doesn't handle technology too well. If my grandparents used this technology, I think we could accidentally have a dog as our next president. It looks like they have people helping the old folks but I don't think that helps once they have to be on their own to vote on the iPad.
I would agree with Bo. Technology is only useful to the elderly generation to a point. I would be the 'tech' guy in my family, and some of the simplest tasks to you and I are challenging and need to be gone over several times with people as young as 50.
