Robot After Life
I wouldn't want to become a robot after life. I think it would just be harder to move on for others because if I lost someone important to me I would just want them gone so I could move on. It would just be strange to know that everything that person was is in front of me, but it really isn't them. The person that I love and the warmth they gave me died when they did and to have a figure to make up for it isn't going to help me move on, it would just make it worse.

I would definetely agree. i think it would be weird to see someone die and then a week later they are a robot and acting like there old self, but it is not really them. it would take away are afterlife and prolong us from entering heaven too. I do like the idea of robots but we should not try to play God and try to live forever this this idea
I would definitely agree with these comments. The idea of a robot afterlife would have way too many contrasting opinions. With religion obviously being a big issue. People who are religious and are faithful to that religion believe in their own afterlife. I feel that if my God wanted there to be a robot afterlife there would of already been one. A robot heaven is like trying to play God. If we were meant to live forever then we would already be living forever. I feel that death is an obstacle in life that can be unfair, but it makes others realize how lucky they are to have what they have and make difference in others life. With a robot heaven people would feel invincible which could be a huge problem in our society.
I feel that it is so unnatural for one to turn into a robot after death. While it seems like having that "person" still around would make things easier on the person mourning their death, I think it would make it much harder. It would be a constant reminder of the person and who they use to be. As mentioned before, I do not feel that we should be trying to play God and make a person live forever.
I would have to agree that this would be a huge mistake in human culture. My overall opinion on the subject is that it should probably be a choice if the technology was availible unlike in the movie where it was illegal. However, I think we should avoid this path all together because I believe some serious human rights conflicts would arise. Not to mention the religious conflicts that would come about.
I totally agree with that it is a moral and religious but it’s still a choice. The idea of preserving yourself pass your natural life is very interesting idea. If you choose to preserve your mind in a robot or to save your person in a computer that person right should not be greater than a normal person that is living.
